I am a postdoctoral researcher interested in metamaterials and active matter, as well as in the overlap between these two fields. I work in the group of Vincenzo Vitelli in the Lorentz Institute and the Leiden Institute of Physics (LION) at Leiden University.
Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology, working on applying concepts from polymer physics to biological contexts, in the group of Paul Goldbart.
Before that, I was a graduate student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pennsylvania, working on descriptions of granular media, mechanical metamaterials, and colloids, in the group of Tom Lubensky. You can read more about my current and past research here.
