more info in my CV:

I am an Assistant Professor at the Instituut Lorentz for Theoretical Physics, Leiden University. As of January 2015 I hold the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor  in Theoretical Physics from the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (Sector 02/A2).

I am an active member of Euclid, in particular of the theory working group and its working package on ‘Testing Gravity’, which I co-chair since Fall 2015. From 2014-2015 I was a D-ITP research fellow based at the Instituut Lorentz in Leiden. From 2012-2014 I was an Excellence Grant fellow at SISSA. From 2008-2012 I have been a postdoctoral associate at MIT working for Prof. Bertschinger; for the first two years at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics and for the remaining two at the Physics Department.

Before that, I was a graduate student (and teaching assistant) in Physics  at Syracuse University. My PhD thesis was done under the supervision of Prof. Mark Trodden.

Even earlier, I was a BS and MS student in Theoretical Physics at the University of Trieste, Italy. Trieste is the city were I was born, a hidden gem on the Adriatic sea.
