Citation problems with a Dutch name like
Wim van Saarloos

With a split Dutch name like mine, one is at a disadvantage. If you want to search my publications on the Web of Science, your best option seems to be to search on van*saarloos w*. Without the wildcard *, many articles or citations simply won't show up.

If you are using Scopus, then watch out: van*saarloos w* does not work at all (no papers found), while with saarloos, w* one retrieves about half of my papers. I have not found a trick for Scopus that really works.
